Pray

We are always looking for people to come along side of us and commit to praying for this ministry. Here is a list of current prayer needs:

1.    That as we work with those broken by oppression and abuse, that we would have emotional and spiritual health. Please pray with us that God would "break our hearts with the things that break his heart" while at the same time strengthening us so that we are not overwhelmed by the suffering and evil we witness.

2.    That God would provide the financial and other needed resources for us to assist with a new ministry to prostituted girls in Maricopa County called "Street Light." Our role would be to conduct initial foundational research and write customized curriculum for the girls and training manuals for staff and volunteers.

3.    That God will guide the Christian leaders we work with in Eastern Africa, particularly leaders who work with street children and at risk youth in Kampala Uganda, and leaders in Congo who minister to those who have been abused and traumatized. Pray that God will protect, empower, and guide them in using the training and materials we have given them as they extend Jesus healing love to the hurting and marginalized.

4.    There are very few Christ centered, psychologically sound resources for pastors and Christian relief workers to use with the vast populations of traumatized adults and children around the world. So pray that God will provide the resources, translators, and partnerships for us to be able to have more of our abuse trauma material translated into French, Swahili, Spanish, and Arabic.

5.    There are so many pressing needs for abuse and sexuality education and ministry assistance. We have invitations from Christian leaders in numerous countries and wish we could positively respond to every request. This is God's work and not ours. Pray that we would be wise, patient, and able to discern God's will for the speaking and writing projects we should pursue.

6.    That God would continue to direct and open up doors for us to partner with strategic Christian ministries from various denominations as well as community and governmental agencies so we can work together most effectively to minister to the broken and oppressed in Jesus' name.
